INTRODUCTION Inauguration of BCECC’s office in Chengdu, Sichuan Province BCECC opened up its first representative office in Chengdu, Sichuan province on November 26, 2010 in presence of city and provincial officials, Belgian officials from the three regional trade export agencies - Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT), Brussels Export and AWEX - other local Chinese chambers of commerce, and Belgian companies and people active in Chengdu. The most honored guests of the day were Mr. Patrick Nijs, Belgian Ambassador to Beijing, Mr. Qian Feng, Deputy Director General of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce, and Mr. Bai Gang, Deputy Mayor of Chengdu.
